History

West Linton Lions was established by a group of West Linton parents in 2005. A mixture of parent and secondary school pupils have supported the development of children through rugby ever since.

A number of children who started ther rugby careers with the Lions have gone on to represent a number of teams including:

Peebles High School 1st XV

Peebles Rugby Club 1st XV

Borders Region U-18

Scotland U-16
